Broad Rock Elementary Featured in the News for Elementary Baseball League

Broad Rock students are stepping up to the plate as part of Richmond Public Schools’ first-ever elementary baseball league.

Broad Rock Elementary School is proud to be featured in the news once again, this time highlighting our students’ participation in Richmond Public Schools’ inaugural elementary baseball league. This exciting new opportunity gives students the chance to build teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship while representing their school in a meaningful way.

Students have been working hard in preparation for their upcoming games, practicing skills and learning what it means to be part of a team. The league not only promotes physical activity, but also encourages perseverance, collaboration, and school pride.

Our Broad Rock players, the Flying Squirrels, are already showing dedication and enthusiasm as they take the field. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the positive example they are setting for their peers.

We are grateful to Richmond Public Schools for creating opportunities like this for our students and to our staff members who support and coach our young athletes.
