Meet Principal Teya Green
Ms. Teya Green is proud to serve as Principal of Broad Rock Elementary, home of the Rams. She is honored to lead a school community that values collaboration, high expectations, and joyful learning. Ms. Green is committed to providing students with rigorous and engaging educational experiences that prepare them to achieve their goals and thrive as lifelong learners. She believes that strong partnerships among families, staff, and community members are essential to student success. Under her leadership, Broad Rock Elementary continues to foster a welcoming environment where every child is respected, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Meet Assistant Principal Ryan Bennett
Mr. Ryan Bennett serves as an Assistant Principal at Broad Rock Elementary, where he is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive school environment. He began his career as an exceptional education teacher before moving into school leadership roles within Richmond Public Schools. Mr. Bennett holds a Master’s in Education and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. He believes that strong relationships are the foundation of successful schools and is committed to ensuring equitable learning opportunities for all scholars. His leadership is guided by a focus on collaboration, respect, and student growth.

Meet Assistant Principal Lisa Williams
Ms. Lisa Williams serves as an Assistant Principal at Broad Rock Elementary, bringing over 25 years of experience in education. She holds degrees from the College of William and Mary, the University of Virginia, and the University of Richmond. Ms. Williams has served as a classroom teacher, Title I reading teacher, and literacy coach, and she is endorsed in administration and supervision, PK–6, reading, and ESOL. She became an administrator to help create a supportive and engaging environment where students, staff, and families can thrive together. Ms. Williams believes that student success is built on strong relationships, rigorous learning opportunities, and a positive school culture. She values the spirit of teamwork at Broad Rock and is committed to fostering growth and achievement for every child.
