Mr. Jones’s 5th grade art students have been transforming blank walls into vibrant murals throughout the school. Their creative work showcases teamwork, artistic skill, and school pride while brightening our learning spaces.
Families are invited to join us for a fun and easy way to support our school at Chuck E. Cheese Night, sponsored by our PTA! This special fundraising event will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2006, from 3:00–8:00 p.m.
All RPS schools will be closed for students on Wednesday, January 14 for a Teacher Planning Day. To view all upcoming holidays, please refer to our 2024-2025 calendar.
Please note that our school will be closed for Winter Break from December 22 through January 2. We hope our students and families enjoy a restful and joyful holiday season. We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday, January 5.
We are excited to share a new initiative aimed at promoting positive morning routines and setting students up for success each school day. To encourage punctuality, we have been hosting morning attendance surprise raffles for students who arrive on time.
The PTA Holiday Shop will be open all next week, with the final shopping day on Friday, December 19. This special event gives students the opportunity to shop for small gifts for their family members and loved ones right here at school.
As we head into the final days before winter break, we are excited to celebrate with our annual Holiday Spirit Week. Students are invited to participate in a variety of themed dress-up days and special activities designed to build school spirit and create lasting memories.
Our 4th and 5th grade orchestra students performed a short set of songs for classmates and staff, showcasing their hard work and musical growth. The performance was a wonderful opportunity for the school community to celebrate student talent and the importance of the arts.
