Library Media Center

The Broad Rock Elementary Library Media Center is a welcoming space where students develop a love of reading, strengthen research skills, and grow as responsible digital citizens. Our library supports classroom learning while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.

Students visit the Library Media Center regularly to:

• Explore a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction books

• Build reading stamina and comprehension skills

• Learn how to locate, evaluate, and use information responsibly

• Practice digital literacy and technology skills

• Participate in engaging lessons that support classroom instruction

The Library Media Center provides access to print and digital resources that support reading, research, and enrichment across all grade levels. Lessons are designed to align with instructional goals while fostering independence, critical thinking, and a joy for learning.

Families are encouraged to support reading at home by discussing books, setting aside time for daily reading, and helping students care for borrowed library materials.
