Cassie Bates
Literacy Coach
I began teaching at Broad Rock in 2011, where I have taught multiple grade levels. I transitioned to the role of Reading Specialist seven years ago. I believe that literacy is a fundamental human right and am truly grateful for both the wonderful students and the dedicated educators with whom I work. When I’m not at BRES, I am an avid gardener, and I love spending time with my family on outdoor adventures in Richmond and the surrounding area.
